Autumn Edit 2015

Hello guys :)

I’m starting a new thing called Season Edit. I stole the idea from Viviana Does Makeup.  I’ll be posting one of these every season with products inspired by the season. They can be inspired by the colors or by the use of them. I’m not sure if I explained it right, but I hope you understood what I was trying to say.

So, today is the first Season Edit and it’s the Autumn Edit, never mind autumn is almost completely over..

 

These are some of my autumn inspired products. They all are just color oriented for the autumn. Of course you can wear them any season, but I wore them particulary at this time of year.

Lips

Top to Bottom: Avon Deluxe, Avon Buttered Rum, Maybelline Ginger Spice, Estee Lauder Autumn and Crystal orchid

I have 5 lipsticks and 3 lip pencils. All the lipsticks look alike in the bullets, but can see from the swatches they are different.

The lipsticks are:

Estee lauder Pure Color Lipstick in Autumn

Estee Lauder Pure Color Crystal Lipstick in Crystal Orchid

Avon lipstick in Buttered Rum (I don’t know the line exactly, sorry)

Avon ColorTrend lipstick in Deluxe

And

Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Ginger Spice

3 Lip Pencils:

 Estee Lauder Double Wear Lip Pencil in 08 Spice. This is one of my all time favorite lip pencils. The color is a nude-rosy-brown, beautiful. And the formula is amazing. It stays on your lips for hours!

The other one is Impala Waterproof Lip Liner in 223, which is dark plumy shade,love.

And Flormar Waterproof Lip liner in 202, which is again nude, but a bit warmer shade.

Eyes

Golden Rose Silty Touch eyeshadow in 128

Estee Lauder Automatic Eye Pencil in Khaki

H&M Cream eyeshadow

For the eyes it’s Golden Rose Silky Touch Eyeshadow in 128, beautiful, beautiful browny-red color, slightly shimmery. Warm, gorgeous shade! I love it!

My newest love, the H&M Cream Eyeshadow in Plumy Purple shade which has no name on the back! The color is super pretty, especially on my hazel eyes, and the quality is really great!

And an eye liner: Estee Lauder Automatic Eye Pencil in 05 khaki (sorry for all the Estee Lauder stuff, I have a lot of their products, because I use to work for them). Amazing, amazing khaki-green eye liner with a bit of a golden sparkle. I use it smudged along the lash line with couple coats of mascara. Perfect!

And lastly, two blushes:

Estee Lauder Signature Silky Powder Blush in 17 Deep Spice . It’s deep browny-mauve color, absolutely gorgeous on the cheeks with nude or plumy-mauve lips!

And Flormar  Blush-On in 84. Peacy-appricot-nudy  matte shade. Perfect for everyday!

What's in my everyday make-up bag

My last post on “What’s in my everyday makeup bag” is from 2 years ago, so I decided to do an updated one. 

I really enjoy these posts, so I thought I’d show you What’s in my everyday makeup bag :)

Face Products:

•  Estee Lauder DayWear BB – I use this only on days that I don’t want to put on a foundation, but I want to put something. It has a SPF35, which is great for this time of the year, and I don’t need to put anything over or under it.

• ·         For foundation I’m using MICA Beauty Cosmetics mineral foundation. I use this product for a week, but so far so good. This is the first mineral powder foundation I’m using, so I don’t have a comparison.

• ·         My Blush/Bronzer thing is Loreal GlamBronze Trio from a couple of years back. It has three colors – a bronzer color, a highlight color and a pinky blush color. I mix them all on my brush and apply it that way. I really like it, and it’s my “to-go” blush in the summer. I’ll say though, it’s not really for people with oily/combination skin, because it’s really shimmery.

• ·         The concealer I’m using at the moment is MAC’s Pro Longwear Conceaer. I like it… but I don’t love it.. I don’t know, maybe I was expecting too much. It has too much hipe for it’s acctualy is. I’ll use it up, but I’ll try something different after it.

• ·         And my kabuki brush for my mineral foundation and my blush brush.

Eyes products: 

• Black eyeliner – Estee Lauder Double wear almost gone black eye pencil. Love it, almost never use it now days.

•  Essence eyeliner pen – I have it just in case I feel like “Cat eye” kind a day. It’s not my favorite, but it applies easly.

•  Christian Breton Infinite Lashes Serum and Eyelash Builder – I don’t know if you have heard for this brand, but it’s French. I love both of the products, but I’m too lazy to use them everyday, if I have to be honest.

•  For mascara I’m using MaxFactor 2000 Calorie mascara and I’m not loving it, to be honest. Please recommend me a good mascara, because I haven’t had good luck with my last few mascaras.

•  On every day baces I rearly wear eyeshadow. I think it’s a faze, I’m not sure. Anyway, the only eyeshadow I’ve been using in the past couple of months is Avon Extra Lasting Cream Eyeshadow in Forever  bronze. I love this one. It’s really easy to apply and to blend. I use my fingers to apply it. And it lasts on me the whole day.

Lips:

Like every makeup loving girl, I have a ton of lip products in my everyday bag….

 

• ·         EOS lip balm in pomegranate and raspberry

• ·         1, 2, 3 nudish/pinky li pencils. Again, I need them all! Miss Claire waterproof lip liner in L323 Excitement /not exciting color at all and definitely not waterproof!/, Avon Luxe lip liner in Nude temptress – love it, Young blood lip liner pencil in Pout – again, loving it!

• ·         Christian Breton Lip XL lip gloss with plumping effect . I’m not sure if it’s really plumping, but it’s minty and cooling on the lips. I like it. Be aware – it’s really sticky, I don’t mind it, but it is.

• ·         Avon Luxe lipstick in lustering nude – It’s sheer and shimmery, but it looks amazing on the lips!

• ·         And the last thing is Rimmel Lasting Finish byKate Lipstick in 20. My favorite bold lipstick. Matt and gorgeous fucsia color!

Some other stuff:

• ·         Little mini tiny Bioderma miccelar water for fixing up my eyeliver.

• ·         Cuccio Naturale  Cuticle Conditioning Butter Stick.

• ·         Blotting sheets.

• ·         Twizzers

• ·         Eyelash curler

• ·         A clean spooly

• ·         Eye brow pencil – Loreal Brow Artist Shaper in 04 Dark Brunette

• ·         Aerin Lilac Path sample size pafume – I really like it, but I care it in my makeup bag for an emergency.

And just if you’re wondering my actual makeup bag is from Clinique. I got it like gift with purchase.

Life Update and bit of MAC

Hey guys
So, I wanted to say Sorry for the lack of posts. I started so good this year, and I was so proud of myself... and it lasted for 2 weeks..
I started a new job in the middle of January, and I've been super busy, and stressed out. If I have to be completely honest I just did not have any desire to start writing, because I was so stressed.
But I really miss my blog and writing!

Also, I bought two things from MAC today, and I thought I'll share them with you.
I've been hearing so so SOOOO much for MAC's Pro Long Wear Concealer and I finally got it. The other thing is MAC's Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. Two staples.
I'll share my thoughts in the next posts.

CLINIQUE Neutral Territory 2 Palette

Hey gyus :)
As we all know everyone and their mother talks about nude palettes right know. So I've decided to show you one that not so many people have talked about.

The Clinique Neutral Territory 2 Palette./I don't know if there has been 1 before that/

First of all, the packaging looks nice, it's mirrored, it's not heavy, it's small and compact. On the back there's the names of the shadows.When you open it, it has a big mirror, which is a plus. It has a two-sided brush, one side is an aplicator and the other side is a blending brush, which is a good idea, but I don't know how well they perform.

There is 8 shades, all natural, neutral.I like that they're from really light, white, colors to really dark brown, and there's a medium shades also. They have variations.They're not all light, and no dark colors, or all the same medium shade.

It's not really warm or cold tone, there is both. They're all shimmery, some more than others, but there's definitely no matte colors.

The shadows feel really smooth and buttery. They have good pigmentation, and they're easy to blend. I can't tell you how long-lasting they are on their own, because I always use a base.

Overall, a really nice neutral palette. I would like if there were a few mattes, but hey.. :)

Evelin 8in1 Total Action Intensive Nail Conditioner

Hello people :) I hope  you are all doing fine :)

Today's blog post is for Evelin 8in1 Total Action.
Now, I first learned about it from Iveta from Sapphire Eyes and Rubin Lips

I decided that I want a break from gellish and I went out and bought it. I bought it from DM for 4.50lv. I can't really tell you what were the exact 8 things that it was suppose to do.

You're supposed to put on coat, then on the next day put another on top of it, then another on top of it, and I think on the fourth day you clean them and put a new coat on. I think it was a 4-day round, but i do it two days and clean them up on the third and put a new coat on, because they get too thick and start peeling.

I'm sorry for my dry and disgusting cuticles!

I've been using it for may be around  a month, and my nails look great! They look great, they look healthier, they look smoother, brighter, they feel great, they feel a lot stronger, they grow fast.. I think I'll continue using it for another month, and then I'll use it just like a base coat, which I tried on my friend, and her nail polish stayed for a lot longer!

So, all-around great product. I would recommend it for anyone who wants just better nails!

Today I'll show you what I bought from BuyinCoins.com 
I can't remember who I saw that was purchasing from the site. It's a Chinese site with everything you can imagine in it, and it's reaaaaaally cheap. They have free worldwide shipping. My things came for about 20 days.

 Some things I've tried already, but not everything. I'll give you the exact link for the product.

The first thing I bought was the blue set of 10 brushes.
They're all kabuki brushes. 5 big ones, and 5 small ones.

For the big ones:
1st flat kabuki - tried it with liquid foundation, don't liked it for that. I'll try it with other things.
2nd pointy kabuki - tried it for contouring, loved it.
3rd rounded angled kabuki - tried it for blush, loved it.
4th rounded kabuki - I think I haven't tried this one yet
5th flat angled kabuki - haven't tried this one also.

 Small brushes:
1st flat angled mini kabuki - haven't tried it yet.
2nd flat top mini kabuki - amazing for spot concealing.
3rd pointy top mini kabuki - haven't tried it yet.
4th rounded top mini kabuki - amazing for concealing under the eye.
5th rounded angled mini kabuki - like it for cream shadows, bases, packing on the color and making the V shape in the outer corner.

These two I bought separate.  I like them both.(link for them)
The round one I tried with powder and bronzer and blush. Amazing! Love it.
The tapered one I tried with liquid foundation. I like it, it gives kind of sheer coverage, I can't say I love it, but I like it.
And they are soooooo soft! Amazing soft!

These two I also bought  separate. They are both really nice blending brushes. The white one is like MAC's 217, and the black one is like MAC's 224.

Oh don't these lashes look amazing!?
Yeah..well, they're not.
They look great. They look natural,with a really thin base... Yes, it's thin, BUT it's impossible to curve it so it can stick to your eye. It's thin, but it's so freaking hard!
We'll see.. I'll try them a couple more times..I was thinking that I can cut them apart and use them like individuals ..

And the last thing in my haul are these fakelash twizers. I haven't tried them yet, but if they make lash application easier - cool, if not - oh well.. it's not a big deal.
